SIGNIFICANCE OF COW SEVA
The special status of cows and the benefits of caring for them are glorified throughout the scriptures. As per spiritual recommendation, the four Purusharthas, viz. Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha can be simultaneously achieved just by serving the cow.
Cows are very dear to Lord Sri Krishna, thus they bring all auspiciousness to those who love, care and serve them. Supreme Personality of Godhead is known as Govinda - one who gives pleasure to the cows and Gopala - protector of the cows. He lives in Gokul, the place of cows, as part of a family of cowherds. In scriptures, serving cows and their protection are immensely gloried.
I can be worshipped within the Cows by offerings of grass and other suitable grains and paraphernalia for the pleasure & health of the Cows.
Lord Sri Krishna says in the Shrimad Bhagavatam 11.11.43
मेरी पूजा गायों में उन्हें घास तथा उपयुक्त अन्न एवं उनके स्वास्थ्य एवं आनंद के लिए उपयुक्त सामग्री प्रदान करके की जा सकती है ।

Scientific Reasons for Cow Protection
- Cow milk is the most compatible alternate to the mother’s milk - it’s life saver, protects against many diseases, provides required nourishment for body growth from foundational level and builds sharp intellect.
- All byproducts of cows have medicinal values and GREEN - protect environment. It is used as a natural source of energy - gobar gas, urine, upla, manure for maintaining soil fertility and plant protection against disease and malnutrition, and ultimately saving humans from side effect of man made fertilisers leading to water, soil & environment pollution.
- Cow provides employment at a mass scale and becomes a source of all auspiciousness, happiness and protection.
